SBI clerk Notification 2019 out , 8653 vacancies For Graduates

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification of SBI Clerk 2019 along with its application form on April 12, 2019. Aspiring candidates can fill the SBI Clerk application form 2019 till May 3, 2019 in online mode. However, before filling the application for the banking exam, candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility conditions set by the bank to avoid cancellation of their candidature at any stage of the recruitment.

Name of the post : Clerk 

Total no of vacancies : 8653

Qualification : Graduation in any discipline from any institution recognized by Central Government. Candidates who are in final semester/year may apply, if and only if they are able to produce the proof of degree completion on or before August 31, 2019.

Will there be an interview after the written result?

As per the notification, there will be NO interview.

Age criteria : Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2019, i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1991 and not later than 01.04.1999 (both days inclusive).

Educational qualification : Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidate having integrated dual degree(IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2019

 Application Fee :

  • Rs. 120/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. 
  • Rs. 750 /- for all others.


When will the registration start?

Registration will start from 12-04-2019 to 03-05-2019

I have scored 55% in Graduation. Am I eligible to sit for the exam?
Yes, you can apply as there is no percentage criterion. You just need to be a graduate.

Is the exam Bilingual?

The tests except for the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.


Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?

As per the official notification released by SBI "No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed". Thus, there will not be any sectional cut off for this year's SBI Junior Associates Recruitment's Online Examinations.

Is there a criterion for negative marking?

There is negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.
